Karthi and Ranjani’s engagement was a very simple affair with only both the families present at the bride’s residence. Karthi, along with his father Siva Kumar, mother Lakshmi, sister and brother-in-law, brother and actor Suriya and niece Diya, attended this simple ceremony at the Kodumudi village near Erode. Suriya’s wife and actress Jyothika did not attend the engagement as she was away to Mumbai her native place.On hearing the news about Karthi and Suriya’s arrival, even people from the surrounding villages made a beeline to the village to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars. The wedding of Karthi and Ranjani will take place on July 3rd at the Kodesia Mahal in Coimbatore.
